What is the 341 Meeting

The Meeting of Creditors, also called the 341 hearing named after the required Section 341 of the Bankruptcy Code, is where Debtors meet the Trustee or one of his staff attorneys, to be questioned about the bankruptcy petition, schedules and plan. The meetings are conducted via Zoom Video Conference. Creditors may attend this meeting.  A typical meeting only lasts approximately 15 minutes.

Uploading Financial Documents

At least (7) seven days before the Meeting of Creditors, your attorney must upload the following financial documents to our secure site below –  BkDocs.us

  • Most recent year’s Federal Income Tax return along with all schedules or tax transcript
  • Most recent pay stub/proof of monthly income
  • Proof of real estate value
  • Mortgage balances
  • Photo I.D.
  • Proof of social security number (social security card/1099/1098)

Failure to produce the required documents will result in rescheduling the Meeting of Creditors to a new date and time.
